Does anyone have a link to pictures of yeast culturing partuicularly the streaking method on petri dishes or plates....Right now im reading an article upon the subject but i cant seem to picture it.... >Stab the loop in clean agar, flick it through the just-streaked area two or three times, and >streak a small area of fresh agar. When done, there should be a rectangular patch of clear >agar extending to the center of the plate, with the stab-marks at the bottom. It goes onto one more step but i cant get my mind around this process...Guess im more of a hands on show type..so if anyone had any pics of the process i'd be much obliged.

I recommend the booklet, The Fungus Among Us. Believe I got it from Morebeer.com. Has drawings and instructions, plus how to maintain a sanitary environment during the process. Good basic info without getting techo-geeky.
