Hello All I"m picking up a new sack of grain today and while I'm at the LHBS I want to pick up some yeast for an oatmeal stout. My LHBS only carries WL vials for liquid. 005 is my stock ale yeast, but it seems I should go with 004 Irish ale yeast. Any comments? If anyone has had the oatmeal stout at the Portsmouth Brewery in NH, that's what I'm after, though I know the mouthfeel will be different from a bottle. Thanks in advance. ----------------------------------------------- John Bleichert syborg@earthlink.net The heat from below can burn your eyes out!!

I pretty much use their Irish Ale strain for most of my stouts/porters. John.
