Subject: wheels for brew stand

I'm in the very very early stages of planning my brew stand. It will
most likely be and "L" shape with two kegs low and one high, or simply
a table with three in a row. I prefer to keep things low, but I
digress. Once I build my stand I'd like to have wheels on it so it will
be easily movable. What type and size of tire is recommended for a
project like this? Also, I'd like a way to lock the wheels during
brewing.

Thanks for any help,

Dave

You first need to know how much weight you will be supporting.
Then get 360 degree swivel with locks.

I have just completed my brewstand, and plan on putting some type of
pneumatic tire on the front that will allow me to move easily over the
gravel. I brew outside (for now), and many times I have to use my
house as a windbreak, brewing on the lee side. I plan on putting some
type of tire on the uprights that make up the high burner, so that when
I lift on the lower side the tires will make contact with the ground.
Then, when I get it into position, I can just lower it and have a solid
set again.

Here's a quick snapshot of my baby: http://tinyurl.com/keq8v

In actuality, my stand is light enough that I can lift/carry it where I
want or need to. I'd like to be able to move it with the empty mash
tun and boil pot on it though.

Anyway, my .02 :)

I found some discarded transporters-like a wheel chair but the back wheels
are the same size as the front-front wheels swivel and of course are free
