Subject: nutmeg taste in home brewed beer.

A Mr Beer batch bottled in quart bottles. First glass from bottle has a
nutmeg aftertaste. The remaining beer (drung the next day) did not have the
aftertaste.
I did not really like the nutmeg taste and am wondering if I did something
wrong??? This is about my 10th batch - no other issues before. By the way
it was "American Gold Premium."
The second bottle just opened doen not seem to have that taste. I am now
wondering if my frozen mug picked up some flavor in the freezer???
