ok i'm VERY new at this. i've got 3 batches under my belt. literally. i'm looking for an easy, somewhat original, 5 gal. recipe that i could enjoy during christmas. a wheat maybe. i like the sam adams type a lot but i don't want a clone ( i can get sam at the store).any sugjestions? i have a supply of ingredients close by but the guy isnt very helpful, seems like the type that hes better than everybody around. he did, however, say he would convert grain and extracts for me. any help would be greatly appreciated. t/y

I would go for a German style Hefeweizen. It's the easiest and cheapest recipe you can do and is always a favourite. I only do all-grain so i'm sure you'll find a good recipe on the above websites.
