How strong are beer balls? I am hoping they are strong enough to
sustain a fall from a pick up truck going at 60 mph.

Some people haven't any balls without beer and the true measure of their
strength will not be determined until they have been busted one too many
times.
I am guessing that it would require huge beer balls to even try to sustain a
fall from a pick-up going 60mph

Try a June Bug square in the chest at 110 mph. Kid brother, same night as
the keg falling thing, but different driver and a flop top car, not a jeep.
That poor kid has some HUGE beer balls. My little brothers welcomed me back
from the Corps in big style.

Well, I don't know about beer balls, but I do know a toss from the back of a
Jeep at 40 mph will pop the bung out of a 1/4 keg. Granted it rolled down a
rather steep hill before it poped, but you get the idea.

Back to the balls thing... put ice on it. When it looks calm, tap it and see
what happens.

That brings to mind the famous last words....
"Here, hold my beer and watch this shit!"
