We're planning a move to the area this summer and I was wondering how many,
if any, of the r.c.b.ers were in the area? Also, clubs and homebrew stores?

There are supplies in the area, but I don't think there is a dedicated
homebrew store only in WS. The local club, the Wort Hawg doesn't do much.
The Greensboro Club, the Battleground Brewer's Guild is very active as it
the Charlottle Club, the Carolina Brewmasters.
You might learn about the local beer scene by getting on the South Atlantic
group at Beer Avocate and by giving Beerinator a whirl.

John, as Mike Dixon said, in Greensboro we have the Battleground
Brewers Guild, a very active club. We are about 20 minutes from Winston
Salem. Our website is Battlegroundbrewers.com We would love to have you
join us for a meeting. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month and the
meeting place is posted on the website. Triad Homebrew Supply is at the
corner of Guilford College Rd and W. Market St. in Greensboro. Ken
Pearce, the owner, is really stocking everything we need as
