This is the first time ive used this yeast and my primary after 2 days
of fermenting stinks like sulfur. Anybody else expieriance the same
with this yeast? I made a starter and fermentation was active after 8
hours.

A number of yeasts (mostly lager I think) throw off sulfur smells
during primary fermentation. Give it a while and you'll be fine.

I used Cali V just a few months ago, and got the same awful smell. The
beer will taste fine though, and the smell will dissipate in the
secondary.

A sulfur aroma happens with fermentation sometimes. It's usually nothing
to worry about. The smell should be completely gone by the time the batch
is done and the beer will turn out fine. I don't think it's anything you
did wrong, it just happens.
