I am getting ready to place an order for a S.S. ball valve for my brew kettle. I'm trying to decide between a 2 piece for $18.25 and a 3 piece for $26.54. Does anyone have strong feelings one way or the other? Thanks, Bob

Note that I have seen full port SS ball valves at my local Lowes -- you may not need to order them. -- (Replies: cleanse my address of the Mark of the Beast!) Research it and I think U will see that SS is used for fermenters or storage,NOT boil pots.Brass is cheaper (6 bux?) and since U will not be exposing it longterm to beer, brass works fine. -- Thanks Hank

I really like the Blichmann 3-piece ball valve. With it you have the ability to totally disassemble it for cleaning, sanitation, etc. You can pick it up off of brewcitysupplies.com for 25.00, so that's a pretty decent price for a quality item. I have a couple Blichmann items and they are all top-notch. Just my .02 :) Steven Just Another Bob wrote: > I am getting ready to place an order for a S.S. ball valve for my brew > kettle.
