I like to do batch sparges in three batches. When I use the mash manager in Strangebrew, the amount collected from the first batch is always about 2 quarts short. I'm sure that's because of my mash tun design. Of course I can simply use that much more water in the first batch, but I looked in vain for any way to set a "lost to mash tun" amount. Is there some way to do that? If not, it would seem like a good idea for a future version.

Either the software isn't taking into account some sort of loss under the false bottom or manifold, or the amount of water absorbed by the grain is slightly off. Either way, it's the same result. I will add this as a feature request for the next version. BTW are you using the Windows or Java version? This feature will probably show up in the Java version first. Drew www.strangebrew.ca
