Does anyone have a recipe for Pyramid Snow Cap? I found one extract recipe
at byo. Would like to make some for Christmas. Thanks in advance.

I've got one that's pretty close. Go to www.tastybrew.com and search
for Blue Moon ale (no, it's not a wit like the Coors version..I first
brewed it on blue moon!).

Thanks Denny. I read the comments and it stated in one of them that the
recipe was incorrect and that you were going to repost it. Is this the
corrected recipe that is on there?

a.. 17 lb. 2 row pale malt
b.. 1.25 lb. Munich 10L
c.. 1.5 lb. crystal 60L
d.. .75 lb. chocolate malt
e.. .75 lb. roasted barley
f.. 1.5 oz. Magnum whole hops - 14.6% - 60 min.
g.. 1.5 oz. East Kent Goldings pellets-5.3%-15 min.
h.. 1.5 oz. EKG pellets-5.3%-2 min.
i.. 1 tsp. Irish moss
j.. Wyeast 1338

Preparation
mash at 153 for 60 min.boil 10 min., then start hop schedule
Specifics
Style Winter Beer
Recipe Type All Grain
Batch Size 5 gal.
Original Gravity 1.073
Final Gravity 1.017
Boiling Time 70 min.
Primary Fermentation 7-14 days in glass..whatever it takes
Secondary Fermentation 2 weeks in glass
Other Specifics 7.5% ABV est. 65 IBU

Based on the OG, there may be too much pale malt. Maybe not, though.
Either you or I should run it through Promash and see what's waht. I
can do that tomorrow.
