Subject: Revisiting: where to buy extract in Japan

I've got everything ready for my move but the DME. The guy at my LHBS
suggested that it shouldn't be hard to get DME or liquid in Japan. I'd
like to know where before I go. Ultimately, if I'd have to ship it from
outside of the Japan, it's better to import from home via a friend at
Fedex. However, if there's some Japan-domestic source, I'd love to do
the math ahead of time and figure out if it's more cost-effective.

Suggestion:
PM (Personal Message) "just-cj" - he is a member on the brewboard (
http://www.brewboard.com ) and/or "cj in j" on the Northern Brewers Forum
( http://forum.northernbrewer.com ) You will probably have to join the
forums to message him. (Or you could join the forum(s) and pose the question
there too) He is a very experienced brewer that lives in Japan. I know he
gets a lot of his supplies shipped from the states - but - I'm sure he will
be VERY knowledgeable of the items available in Japan (along with pricing)

When brewing in Japan I had never found it necessary to use DME, I always
substituted the pee of a 46 year old virgin Geisha Girl!
