One thing I don't like about the WL tubes is that they don't stand upright. Anhyone know of a nifty way to rig up some sort of rack to store them? I'm surprised no one has yet put such a thing on the market. Most sci-supply houses should carry these -- I forget where mine came from, though -- but it was cheap. -- (Replies: cleanse my address of the Mark of the Beast!) I haven't seen much at homebrew stores along those lines though. John.

No matter, I only have three vials on hand, and they're conveniently propped up in a jar. I plan to keep slants of yeasts eventually anyway. www.cynmar.com has several cheap plastic tube holders. They have a bunch of stuff for yeast ranching. No affiliation or whatever. I bought some flasks there and some other odds and ends.
