Every 3-4 years one of the reporters for the campus
rag finds out about our local homebrew club and does
an article. They're usually fairly good (better than
some of the dubious publicity we've gotten from local
television stations). Another decent article showed up
today-- the cover story, no less!. I thought some of
you may be interested:

Or after today (June 28, 2006), try here (or do a search
on "brewing" from their main page):

It's a shame that the first quote wrong. Kolsch is an ale, not a lager.

I didn't even notice. <blush > Truth be told, I've had
enough experience with reporters that I'm extremely tolerant
of small errors. In this case, the guy did a good job of
background research, got the quotes more or less right and
attributed to the right people, and generally did a good
job of PR for our club. So it's all good.

You're lucky. About two years back, the New York Press wrote a piece
on the New York City Homebrewers Guild and it slammed the guild with
lies over how we were a bunch of drunken frat boys and how it was all
about the alcohol.

We still haven't forgiven them.
