I finally bought John Palmer's book, and within a month came an announcement of a new edition. Is there much different in the new (3rd) edition?

I bought the 3rd edition a few weeks ago from my local homebrew shop. I do not have a 2nd edition to compare to, but there is a section of the book called "notes on the third edition". From reading the notes, it sounds like batch sparging and no sparging are the biggest changes. I actually bought the book for the batch sparging section. It says that he improved on some other topics as well. -Rick -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com

I believe he did the same when the 3rd edition came out. John.

That's correct. Rick Haskin wrote: >> HT > I think the OP was saying that he has the 2nd edition and as soon as he > bought it he found out there was a 3rd. I do not think there is a 4th > (yet). >

As good as the 2nd edition is, it pales in comparison to the 3rd. ---------- >Denny -- Life begins at 60...1.060, that is.
