Subject: Jelly Jars - Epilogue

Well, I opened the first of 6 jelly jars containing spruce beer.
Although they work just fine and the beer is yummy-yummy, I can't really
drink out of the jars. The yeast sediment was diturbed and popped up to
the surface. The wide mouth of the jelly jar also makes it difficult to
pour without pouring the sediment into the glass. (I ended up filterng
through a linen towel.)
So although the jars were a success, they were not as useable as I'd
hoped.
