All this talk of India is getting me thirsty.

This is funny because I almost ignored the post after seeing "India." I was looking up the whole thing yesterday, and from what I can tell, there's a large India nationalist body on Usenet, and there are a few trolling shitheels in them. This guy's tactic is to append completely unrelated newsgroups to the posts in order to generate inordinate amounts of traffic. If you look up Dr. Sahib's posting history, he has a bunch of posts about "niggaz," if that gets you any idea. According to some folks on soc.culture.india, the phD's fake too. It's all too bad, because I always grew up with a positive impression of India and the people from all different parts of it. Then again, most of the people I knew were ABCD. This whole thing with people from the north part of the country putting down people from the south, and a huge Pakistan/Bangladesh/India screwfest confuses me. The comments in that group do entertain me, though.

It's not enough to keep things perfectly clean, but it helps.

Took care of them once and for all. Steve

I'm going to have to try a different newsgroup reader. The filtering in Mozilla Suite's mail / news application is somewhat lacking.
