Subject: Help with leaks

Hope someone is here today. I need help fast.

I have an 8 qt. brew pot that I have added a Weld-B-Gone fitting to. The
Weld-B-Gone works great, but I'm having a hard time getting a leak proof
seal between Weld-B-Gone nipple and my ball valve. I've tried a small
amounts of silicone tape and large amounts but I still get a leak. Help.
Thanks,
Rick Knight

No, not usually. I put in just enough pressure to keep the lids closed.
Since the meads are stored warm it results in very little carbonation, not
enough to really notice.
