I have a WLP550 Belgian Ale yeast cake sitting around doing nothing.
I was thinking of buying a cheapo UK home brew kit (pale ale, bitter or
stout are all widely available) and just chucking it on the yeast cake.
Anyone tried such an experiment?
A dream result would be: English pale ale kit + Belgian yeast =
deKonninck clone
