Subject: After the Primary?

Newbie here.. Malt extract kit with grains now fermenting in primary. How long does the brew rest after racking to 2ndry? Then, Right before bottling...I plan to re-rack to bottling bucket containing the dissolved corn sugar. Comments?

So however long that takes (probably at least one week). The rest sounds fine. Just keep everything sanitary and you will be good to go.

At least until the fermentation is complete. After that it's up to you. Generally what happens next is aging/clearing of the beer in the secondary. How much of that you want is a preference thing. Most beginners are eager to get the beer into bottles and start drinking, so don't do much aging. The bigger the beer (higher OG) the longer the secondary. Aging is good for ales, within limits. Give it 1-2 weeks in secondary to clear and age a bit and you'll be fine.
