I was just wondering, can't seem to find the info on google...is there any difference in the 55/45 wheat DME vs. amber DME when it comes to making a starter as far as fermentables? Thanx in advance. Gerard

Thanx in advance. Maybe, but I don't think it would matter much for a starter. You should be able to use either one. John.

Thanx in advance. My *guess* would be that the wheat blend will be more fermentable. Basically, any "colored" extract is gonna have crystal (or something else that has more unfermetnables) in it. ---------- >Denny -- Life begins at 60...1.060, that is.
