Subject: 1st bad batch


well maybe the second in maybe 20 brews<bfg > This was an oatmeal
stout(northern
brewing kit)--enerything seemed to be going OK through the process---bubbled
happily for about as week, then into secondary for another week---bottled a
month ago with sugar into the bottling bucket.
Flat winey taste is what comes out of a couple different bottles today

no gravity taken

opinions????

Just a guess here, but if the beer's flat then maybe the yeast gave up?
If by winey, you mean "sweet", then maybe the priming sugar is still there.

thnaks for the idea--will just have wsh the bottles and go on to the next
batch--
