Subject: Kegs without in/out posts Pin or Ball lock???
If I have a corny keg without any outposts how do I know if I need to
buy pin lock or ball lock?

Or does it matter?

It depends on the type of keg it is.. reply with all the
markings on the side. It may read Challenger VI, Firestone,
Spartanburg or Super Champion etc. That will help determine
whic the post size are and whether you can do pin or ball lock
fittings.

You should be able to use Challenger VI ball-lock fittings.
