Anyone used these varieties? Impressions? Opinions? I was thinking of trying them, but don't know if it would be worth the bother. Thanks. They have subtle, but unique malt flavor/aromas that you will likely find quite pleasant, especially in your English Ales [or American Ales]. They are simply a variety of barley, like any other, so just try it and judge for yourself. -- Thomas T. Also, I agree with Thomas' overall assessment, and will add that malted barley is both and agricultural and industrial product, so the quality of any particular batch depends on variety, growing conditions, the malting process, etc. -- Joel Plutchak "They're not people, they're HIPPIES!" $LASTNAME at VERYWARMmail.com - Eric Cartman
